I have the unpopular opinion that winter shouldn’t end. The seventy-degree day everyone was loving this week, I was soooo not about it. I want more snow, more thirty-degree days, and more ski trips.
I should probably move to Alaska or Canada.
Feeling the cold air on my face as I step outside and watching falling snow cover the evergreen trees are truly two of my favorite things. During winter at Boston College, I would constantly tell my roommate I wanted it to snow more (she is winter’s least favorite fan) and the next day I swear it would snow. My roommate was so not happy, she told me to quit asking for snow like I controlled the weather or something hahah. While she cursed the snow I marveled at its beauty and relished those cold days.
This winter I was able to enjoy some wickedly frigid temperatures and a decent amount of snow (not enough in my opinion). I escaped to Pocono Pines, PA one weekend and wandered around in the snow, enjoyed the thirty-degree weather, and skied it up!
Be inspired to embrace winter instead of cursing its name!!
I recently graduated Boston College, currently living in New York, and just trying to find the next adventure.
